UPSC 2022 Final Result, Check Status, Final Result PDF



The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) recently declared the results of the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022, unveiling a record-breaking number of vacancies at 1,022. Out of the successful candidates recommended for appointment, a remarkable feat was achieved by the top four women candidates who secured the highest ranks. The achievements of Ishita Kishore, Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N, and Smriti Mishra underscore the growing presence and outstanding performance of women in the civil services sector.

Record Vacancies and Meritorious Candidates

With the rollback of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) to Civil Services in 2022, the number of reported vacancies soared to 1,022, marking the highest in recent years. Following the rigorous UPSC CSE 2022 Exam, 933 candidates were recommended for appointment, while an additional 178 candidates were placed on the reserve list. These successful candidates have earned coveted positions in the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service, and various Central Services.

In a splendid showcase of excellence, women candidates outshone their counterparts in the UPSC CSE 2022 Exam, claiming the top four ranks. Ishita Kishore secured the coveted first position, closely followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N, and Smriti Mishra.
