Many a word was written
For those who were smitten.
Were it not for the nether world,
Words would flow from end to end.
Beseeching those who came in between,
the Besotted, the Bewitched, the Besmirched.
All came just to be game for it,
As words that came from up above
And from far below.
Meandering through life's multitudes,
In its attitudes
From distant latitudes.

Dr Shweta Jaiswal is a senior Healthcare Professional with over 18 years of experience as an Anaesthetist & Intensivist. She has worked across India in various tertiary care hospitals.
