Do You Know Why Do I Love Myself Most?... | A Poem by Bhavya Shree V

Do You Know Why Do I Love Myself Most?

Do you know
Why do I love myself most?
Cause
I am a lovely woman
In my 30s;
A period of accomplishment
With sprouted gray hair ,here and there.

I am dark
(The most vibrant colour I believe)
I am fat
Have wide hip and waist.
And have no voluptuous or rounded body,
No curve at all.

But I do love myself most.

With visible stretch marks;
sign of my happy motherhood.

I am a working woman
and
I am a proud homemaker
(Women realm)
Who knows how to nurture her vocation
Together with
how to clean her tiny's potty.
Neither I am a perfect mother nor I am a perfect homemaker.
(But I do believe in imperfections).

Sometimes I have regular period
(Dysmenorrhea)
Sometimes I have irregular periods.
Sometimes I am a yelling mother,
Still I am the kindest.
I am religious
I am infidel.
I am depressed
I am optimisic.

At times I am a night owl
At times I am an early bird.
An angry bird on occasions
And a halcyon the other times.

Besides all these imperfections ,
I do love myself most

"Self love of a rare bird".
